my name is jackie and i run *jej* unique, a little company that manufactures and retails handcrafted creations.

things about me:

something important: i am allergic to brazilian nuts, bubble-bath and pineapple.

something unique: mybirthday is february 29, and at a glance, that might not seem like a big deal, but february generally has twenty-eight days, however every four years there are twenty-nine.

something interesting: according to others, an interesting quality is my empathy and my ability to engage people on a level where there are able to feel that i really care about what they are saying and/or feeling.

my interests: i have many interests, most of which may be classified under the arts and fine arts category. i began my love for the arts with the theatre, in my youth. in high school i became more attracted to photography and painting. as of late, i have become interested in jewelry and glass design; and have always maintained a flair for fashion, foreign language and culture.

my experiences: my life experiences have made me who i am today. may i be the first to point out that there have been choices i have made that were, in short, not the best, but frankly i am glad i made them. and although there are some decisions i have made in the past that i look back on now, and feel slight discontent towards, i would not change. however, all of life’s choices, at least for me, have formed into lessons that I will hopefully one day be able to teach others.
